Rev. Dustin Jernigan grew up in the South and attended college at Ole Miss. He received his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary and is currently working on a doctorate at Beeson Divinity School. Dustin is married to Caroline and together they have three children. Due to their son’s disabilities, they have a particular love for families with children with disabilities. Dustin's passion is sharing the grace and truth of Jesus and seeing the Church embody that grace and truth. He loves fly fishing, hiking, reading, and a good cup of coffee.
Pastor Richard grew up in Wales and received his degree - Bachelor of Divinity - from Aberystwyth Theological College at the University of Wales. He and his wife, Alex enjoy dinners out at their favorite Jacksonville spot - Bella Union. Richard's passions include music and thrift shopping. He is always in search of a good deal and tickets for a great concert. His favorite bands include The Alarm, Third Day, MercyMe, and Switchfoot.
Michele grew up in southern California, but she moved to Oregon to finish her college education. She earned a BA degree in History and graduate degree in Secondary Education at Southern Oregon University. She met and married Rick, and they have raised their two sons in the Rogue Valley. Her favorite spot in town is the library, as she is passionate about reading & education. She is also passionate about sharing God's word with others. "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; Trust also in me." John 14:1.
Joy grew up in southern Oregon and graduated from Ashland High School. She earned a degree in Elementary Education from Linfield College, and she is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Biblical and Theological Studies at Denver Seminary. Joy is always up for something new with her husband of 23 years, Brian, and their three teenagers. She enjoys playing tennis, paddle boarding, and hiking. Her many passions include shining the light of Jesus and encouraging others to do the same.
Doug is passionate about music and sharing God’s love through it. When he is not leading worship, you can find him in the classroom teaching chemistry and engineering at South Medford High School, riding his motorcycle, or building creative sets. He has Master degrees in Biology and Educational Administration. Doug and his wife, Lori, are hands-on grandparents and enjoy spending time with their three adult children. They also enjoy exploring new coffee shops together.
Mark is an Oregon native and is passionate about the outdoors. He can often be found riding the trails on his motorcycle. His favorite spots include the Cook-N-Green Trail to Azalea Lake and Johns Peak. He attended Mt. Hood College and studied small business management. Jesus' words in John 14:6 are an inspiration to him - "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Ronda has spent most of her life in southern Oregon, and she enjoys experiencing God’s beautiful creation here. She and her husband, Mike, are the proud grandparents of 14 grandchildren (plus one more is on the way). She loves game nights with their family, camping, and kayaking. She passionate about sharing God’s love with a hug.
Cami was born and raised right here in the Rogue Valley. Now she is currently pursuing a degree in elementary education. Cami is passionate about working with children and sharing the love of Jesus with them. When she is not studying or working, Cami loves to hike and explore the beautiful places that Oregon has to offer. Her favorite place to hike is Roxy Ann Peak.
Chenee can be found in the education building rocking babies and playing games with toddlers on Sundays. She is passionate about caring for little ones. Her favorite book of the Bible is Proverbs. Jesus' words in Matthew 19:26 "...with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible" speak directly to her. She enjoys any music that makes her want to dance, and her idea of great night out is dinner at Porters in the old dining car booths.
An avid musician and sound technician, John is a successful small business owner with expertise in live audio. Originally from New Mexico, John migrated to the Pacific Northwest where his stoic personality adds to the rich logos of Jacksonville Presbyterian Church.
TJ is an Alumni of Biola University and Southern Oregon University where he studied Old Testimate History and Literature. He recently Graduated From SOU with a degree in Emerging Media and Digital Arts. Apart from working on the technical projects for our church, you can often find him enjoying Mexican food and spending time with his wife Baylee and their two children.
