Lawrence E. Jung, Pastor

Larry grew up in Carmel California. While attending the local community college, he met his future wife, Sally. They were married in 1975 and have three children and three grandchildren. Larry graduated from Westmont College and has a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. Before being called to serve the Jacksonville church in 1985 he served Carmichael Presbyterian Church, in Carmichael, CA from 1979-1985 as Assistant Pastor.

Richard Evans, Pastor of Discipleship and Missions

Richard grew up in Cardiff, Wales, UK. He graduated from the United Theological College, Aberystwyth in 1996 with a bachelor of divinity degree. He was ordained in the Presbyterian Church of Wales in 1998 and served as minister of a 4 church pastorate in North Wales from 1998 - 2006. Richard met his wife Alex in Annapolis MD whilst visiting his cousins in 2000, and the two were married in 2001. After 5 years together in Wales, they decided to move to the Rogue Valley in 2006. Richard joined the staff in 2008 as an interim pastor, and was appointed Pastor of Discipleship and Missions in 2009.

Janet Christian, Director of Children's Ministries

Janet was raised in the valley and has a deep love for the children that she ministers to. Janet was hired in 1993 and continues to enjoy her ministry to the children of our church and community. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Don, and is the proud mom of Matt and Sara.

Janet's passion is to introduce every child to the Good News of Jesus Christ. Along with her Children's Ministry team, she seeks to accomplish this goal through the use of excellent curriculum, recruiting dedicated teachers and conducting several extensive outreach programs to the community throughout the year.

Mark Schmor, Director of Youth Ministries

Mark grew up in Medford where he attended Westminster Presbyterian Church with his family and graduated from North Medford High School in 2001. He then attended Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington; graduating in 2005 with a degree in History and a Certificate for Ministry. Prior to joining the church staff in May of 2005, Mark spent the previous two summers working with the Junior High and Senior High ministries at Jacksonville Presbyterian Church.

Terri Steinhorst, Director of Music

Terri grew up in a Lutheran Church in Southern California - and has loved the Lord, and music all her life. She moved to Eagle Point in 1983 and teaches Vocal Music at Eagle Point High School. Terri lives with her husband, two teenage children and a dog.

She has been on staff of J'ville Pres since 1998 and is excited to be a part of a growing music ministry. Along with the worship team musicians and the choir, she strives to provide the best possible opportunity for worshippers to meet with God through the gift of music.
