our ministries

Bible Studies [more info]

Our church offers a fine array of weekly Bible studies. A church Bible study is offered on almost every day of the week! Most of the Bible studies meet in the historic church building, downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. Men's, women's and co-ed study groups meet. Our Bible study classes are taught by church members and elders.

Care Groups [more info]

Care Groups are small groups of about eight people who study the Bible or a topic from a Christian perspective. Groups can be for a specific period, or ongoing. Some ongoing groups have been together for years. Besides the benefit of knowing others more closely, care groups offer support, prayer and learning in leading a Christian life.

Children's Ministry [more info]

In our Children's Ministries we strive to introduce your children to Jesus and His teachings at every opportunity. We provide classes and programs for the children of our church and community, which take them beyond Bible stories. We believe in applying biblical knowledge to every facet of our lives.

Youth Ministry [more info]

The purpose of our youth ministry is to share the message of Jesus Christ with students; equipping them for a life that honors God and ministers to others as they connect with the body of believers.

Music Ministry [more info]

We see all music as a gift from God; therefore, we have ministries that encompass both traditional and contemporary styles of music. The primary goals of our ministries are to: glorify God, help in the proclamation of the Word through song, to lead the congregation into a deeper relationship with the triune God through worship and to give members an opportunity to develop and use God's gifts to His glory. The music we sing in our worship is intended to both inspire and edify the believer, while more importantly to bring glory and praise to the Lord our God.

Deacons

The deacons are church officers elected by the congregation. Deacons care for the physical needs of the people and church. Church deacons prepare and serve Communion, help with special worship services, distribute food baskets at Christmas time, layettes to needy mothers and help families with clothing, food and shelter needs. Deacons are elected to three year terms of office and function under a moderator, who is elected from the group.
