Children's Ministry

   "We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord ... so the new generation ... would put their trust in God."
            Psalms 78:4-7

In our Children's Ministries we strive to introduce your children to Jesus and His teachings at every opportunity.

We provide classes and programs for the children of our church and community, that take them beyond Bible stories.  We believe in applying biblical knowledge to every facet of our lives.

 
    We seek to do this through: 
    • committed, trained teachers
    • well written and presented Sunday School curriculum
    • exciting and fun learning styles
    • varied programs and opportunities beyond the Sunday School hour, throughout the year
 
Our Nursery
Provided for children up to 3 years old.  Our church nursery, Education Building - [Main Campus], is a warm and caring place where little ones and their parents can feel God's love.
 
Quality care is provided by our Nursery Coordinator and by adult and teen helpers on a rotating basis.

Our Sunday School
Regular Sunday School Classes are now in session.  At the 9:00 am hour, there are classes for Kindergarten - 1st grade, 2nd & 3rd grades, 4th-6th grade girls and 4th-6th grade boys.
 
The 10:30 am hour there are classes for Preschool, Kindergarten - 2nd grades and 3rd-6th grades.  The children are dismissed to Sunday School after the Children's Sermon at both Worship Services.

Shining Stars
Shining Stars is a girls club for those in the 4th-6th grades.  We typically meet the first Friday of each month, October through May from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the Education Building - [Main Campus].  It will be a time of making new friends, learning God's word and a number of varied activities as well.  Throw in some great treats and it will make a wonderful evening of fun.
 
Club 456
Club 456 is alive and well!  Charlie Whitley is our fearless leader who plans fun activities and Bible learning for our boys who are entering the 4th, 5th & 6th grades.  Be watching the Sunday Bulletin, available every Sunday at Worship Services, for fun upcoming events, times and locations.

Dove Song
This is our children's choir made up of children from ages 6 through 12.  It is for all children who love to sing and want to learn more about being part of a choir. It meets on Tuesday afternoon from 2:30 pm to 3:55 pm, Education Building - [Main Campus].  [Click] for more information and an introduction to its leader, Cheryl.
