We seek to be a caring, Bible-based church committed to worshiping, serving, and introducing others to Jesus Christ. We emphasize the importance of prayer, use of spiritual gifts, growth, family and responding to people's needs.

Philosophy of Ministry

We are each disciples of Christ, called by God into a family of faith known as the First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville. We are committed to our Lord Jesus Christ through:

1. Preaching and teaching the gospel for conversion and discipleship.
2. Caring for our families.
3. Caring for our brothers and sisters of faith in our local congregation by becoming accountable to each other through church membership.
4. Welcoming and caring for those entering our community.
5. Doing Christ's work in Southern Oregon and the world by serving people's needs.
